| This spacious and immaculate 4th floor apartment, refurbished to a very high standard in 2005, is located only 10 minutes' drive east of Funchal and within striking distance of all that visitors seek in Madeira. Buses, taxis, a small variety of shops, cafés and restaurants are on your doorstep and the large shared pool is especially appreciated in the summer months. Access is by elevator (or staircase if you prefer) from the basement parking or street level, convenient for transporting luggage and food shopping. This apartment appeals to all ages including young families and our more senior visitors. |

Equipped for six guests, the living area has comfortable sofas and occasional chairs and good lighting for reading. Beyond is the dining area with French windows opening on to a south-facing balcony with a table and chairs to seat four and superb views across the sea to the Desertas Islands. Adjacent is a fully equipped kitchen with laundry area and small balcony. All three bedrooms have sea views and plenty of wardrobe/drawer space: a master double with en-suite bathroom and balcony, a double room and a twin room with shared bathroom. An additional 4th bedroom houses a wooden cot with bedding and is can be used for ironing. A weekly change of linen, towels and cleaning is provided. There are plenty of books, board games, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards, and visitor information. Wireless broadband access is available on request, for use with your laptop.
The large shared pool with lounging area is ideal for those who love swimming and/or relaxing in the sun. It is not heated so can be a bit chilly in winter months when you can take advantage of the indoor pool in the hotel opposite (for a small charge). |
