The house is south-facing and L-shaped; one end consisting of a huge, open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with log fire for cooler evenings and extensive windows/glass doors giving 270º views and access to the veranda, BBQ area, solar heated pool and garden. A passage with guest WC leads to the other end where there are three bedrooms (master en-suite), each with south-facing glass doors leading to the veranda, pool and garden. Pine trees cover the hills behind and a 'levada' (irrigation channel with footpath) runs below the house, inviting you to stroll east or west for as much as 20 km in either direction if you like! |

Please note that this house sits at an altitude of 600 metres. The pool, which is solar heated and has a solid cover, will be cooler in the winter months than pools at lower altitudes.

| Bedrooms/ sleeping arrangements: |
The master en-suite bedroom has a king size bed and single bed; bedroom 2 has a double bed and single bed; bedroom 3 has twin beds. The sofa bed in the living area will sleep an extra adult or 2 young children and a spare mattress is available if all other beds are in use. A cot & high chair are also available on request for an infant. The double beds have electric blankets for winter months and some hot water bottles are available, although seldom required! A hairdryer is provided. |

Master bedroom ensuite: toilet, shower, bidet, wc and his & hers basins. Bathroom 2: toilet, corner bath with overhead shower, bidet, wc and basin. Guest WC with hand basin next to the front door. |

Open plan beside living/dining area. Fully equipped with very large fridge/freezer, electric hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and dishwasher. There are plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. |

The laundry room next to the kitchen has a washer, tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board. |

Fresh linen and towels + cleaning provided weekly. Bring your own pool towels. Firewood is charged by consumption, payable locally. A safe is provided for valuables. |

| Outside: |
The house is surrounded by a well stocked garden. The solar heated pool (11x5 metres) has a solid cover to retain heat and an outdoor shower. The extensive sun terrace, hacienda and BBQ area are all south facing. Sun loungers, garden dining table & chairs are provided. |

Parents must take responsibility for ensuring that children are supervised when in the pool area. |
